Arrive by train in West Yorkshire

Leave the car at home. Every campsite here is within three kilometres of a working railway station — a walk with a rucksack, or a short taxi with a family tent. Miniature and heritage railways are excluded, because a steam line that runs six weekends a year is not a way of getting to your pitch. Check the timetable before you go: a rural halt may see two trains a day.
